In recent years Haliburton Community Housing Corporation has undertaken many projects to help us lessen our carbon footprint, including upgrades to lighting, the purchase of energy-efficient appliances, installation of new doors and windows, installation of insulation & siding, new laundry and other equipment.
The installation of solar panels at each site has allowed us to make electricity “for the grid” and do our part to help meet Ontario ‘s growing demand for electricity.
