Parklane Apartments

Parklane Apartments opened in the summer of 1987. It is a three storey, 50 unit building which features 35 one-bedroom and 15 two-bedroom apartments, an elevator, tenant laundry facilities, and exercise area and common lounge. It is the home of more than fifty seniors over the age of 60. The west side of the building overlooks the scenic Drag River and Head Lake. Within a few steps of the property are municipal tennis courts, volleyball courts, a park, a series of walking trails along the lake and shopping amenities.

Parklane is a smoke-free building; smoking of any kind is not permitted in the apartments, on the balconies or within 9 metres of any door, window or air intact.

Echo Hills Apartments

Echo Hills Apartments opened in February 1992. It is a three storey brick building with 45 units – 36 one-bedroom and 9 two-bedroom. A lounge, laundry room and elevator are just some of the amenities in the building. The grounds feature flower beds lovingly cared for by residents of the building and nearby residential streets provide opportunities to walk and enjoy the serenity of natural surroundings. Shopping and other services are just a two minute drive from the building.

A number of social activities are held in the main lounge including Bingo, cards, games and potluck suppers. The Bridge group uses the lounge to play Contract Bridge every Friday. Tenants are always welcome to join the group.

Residents enjoy catching up on daily news during coffee hour held most afternoons.
